Arbor Resources Ltd (Arbor) is a dedicated exporter of RADIATA PINE timber.

Arbor has been solely engaged in the exporting of Radiata pine timber for over 30 years, and has wide experience throughout Asia and the USA. Total turnover is currently around NZ$20 million per annum.

Arbor is a trading company with direct ownership interests in sawmills and kiln drying facilities and has export marketing agreements with independent sawmills . We have a highly developed networking structure which permits accurate and timely monitoring of production and stock levels from the associated companies.

The networked sawmills have a combined productive capacity in excess of 20,000 M3 per month.

Ten years ago Arbor identified a shortage of kiln drying capacity for export and we have accordingly constructed 4 additional timber drying kilns at our site adjacent the Port of Tauranga, NZ's largest and premier timber export port.

As a result Arbor will have another 5000 m3 of kiln dried timber per month available for export.

We have also identified NEW export markets for ISPM 15 compliant industrial timbers and components parts for bins and pallets . Our new kiln schedules are designed and MAF approved to produce such products with appropriate certification for CHEMICAL FREE , HEAT TREATMENT and we can offer weekly shipping service to all our customers of precision cut to length fine sawn timber components , ready for assembly .

Arbor's strengths are:

All staff have considerable Experience in the export timber trade (and timber processing and remanufacturing) and are able to deal competently and knowledgeably with all aspects of the business.
Experience gained first hand with our customers in all aspects of production and processing of radiata pine for remanufacture of doors, EGP, windows, furniture and mouldings.
A commitment to export which translates to building long term supply arrangements.
Reliable and ongoing supply sources for all timber
A strong preference for dealing direct with the manufacturers/importers thereby ensures that the right products are supplied to meet the customers needs

Arbor remains committed to export markets and expects its business to achieve growth levels over the next five years commensurate with the significant increases in harvest volumes from the radiata pine forest estate of New Zealand . It is notable that the major part of this forest estate increase is in the hands of independent ownership outside of Government and Corporate hands. We expect a significant section of this additional wood volume to be available for sawmilling within and by independent sawmills such as those in our networked group.

Our sawmills produce all grades and sizes in specifications as required by customer demand .

Reman specialises in remanufacture of Industrial timbers after Chemical Free Heat Treatment into various sizes and lengths as determined by customer demand for ISPM 15 compliant packaging and pallet needs . Equipped with automated stackers and destackers, pack saws, trim saws, notchers and block cutters and 8 band saw heads, multirip saws , full optimising saws and sorting tables we are well able to provide all sizes and lengths required.
